Lynne Bosley was named President of the United Way of Elgin in October 2001. She has spent her entire career in the United Way system, serving as President of United Way of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green for 11 years during which the organization grew from a small local fundraiser to a five-county regional operation raising over $2 million. She began her career as Campaign Director for United Way of the Ohio Valley. She currently serves on the United Way of Illinois board of directors and is chair of the Illinois Association of United Way Executives. In addition, she was a board member of the Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce and served on the Elgin Police Chief’s Citizens’ Advisory Committee and the Elgin Gang Prevention and Intervention Task Force.

Christina Pearson joined the United Way of Elgin team in April 2007 as the Office Manager. She graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2004 with a degree in Operations Management. Prior to her United Way career she was employed by Stock Building Supply. She recently joined the Elgin Young Professionals Network, a group of young professionals working together to strengthen connections, the Elgin community and their own professional development.

Director of Marketing
Elissa Kojzarek joined United Way of Elgin in 2008 as an intern and in 2009 became full time as the Resource Development and Special Initiatives Manager. In 2014 she transitioned to the Director of Marketing role. Elissa graduated from Iowa State University in 2004. She went on to work for the USDA in Ames, Iowa. In 2009 she graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Master of Public Administration degree with an emphasis in Nonprofit Management.
