United Way needs volunteers (either as individuals or teams) starting in Fall 2011 to spend 30 minutes a week reading to an individual child or to a small group of preschool and kindergarten children. Volunteers are trained and asked to donate a minimum of 30 minutes per week for a seven-month period working with children under the supervision of a classroom teacher. (If you are in a team, your group could coordinate schedules so that each volunteer takes a week that works for them.) Times volunteers are needed: 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM; 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM; 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM
